Lily Allen says she’s done with famous flames following her messy breakup with Stranger Things star David Harbour.
In a candid chat with Interview Magazine, the “Smile” singer admitted dating apps have been “awful,” especially while nursing heartbreak. “There is nothing more depressing than hundreds of people that are nothing like the person that you’re missing,” she said. “It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him. That’s not him. That’s not him.’”
“It does [have drawbacks], because I’m not really looking to go out with another famous person,” Allen said, noting that in England, going on a date with her still feels “a bit of a novelty.”
Allen also shared a funny experience with online dating: she was blocked by Hinge. “Did I tell you I got banned from Hinge for impersonating myself?” she recalled. “I’m like, ‘I can prove that I’m that person.’ They’re like, ‘You’ll need to send us your ID.’ And I’m like, ‘Actually, my name and the name on my ID aren’t the same.’”
