Three Killed in Houston-Area Shooting Spree; Suspect Dead, Authorities Say

Minutes later, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police received reports of another shooting at a mechanic shop in southwest Houston, roughly ten minutes east of the Sugar Land location. Authorities described the suspect as driving a silver Ford Escape matching the description of the vehicle involved in the first shooting.

Crowson explained that the suspect had an altercation with a mechanic at the shop. Tragically, the mechanic was shot and killed during the confrontation. The chaos did not end there: as the suspect fled the scene, an individual from a nearby warehouse began recording the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect then allegedly fired several more rounds, killing the witness.

After the shootings at the mechanic shop, the suspect continued to flee, eventually arriving in an area about two and a half miles north of the shop.
